Shree Deeptam at Vishwakarma Swarozgar Mela, Lucknow: Handmade Terracotta Jewellery & Ethnic Wear

Terracotta Jewellery: Shree Deeptam Collection in Lucknow

There is something special about finding a piece of jewellery that doesn’t feel mass-produced. Something that has little details, a handmade touch, and a story behind it.

That is what we love about what we do at Shree Deeptam.

This year, we are bringing the Shree Deeptam Collection to the Vishwakarma Swarozgar Mela in Lucknow, where visitors can explore our handmade terracotta jewellery and ethnic wear in person.

For us, this isn’t just another exhibition. It is a chance to meet people, show them our work, hear what they think, and hopefully help them find something they genuinely love.

A Special Start to the Mela in Lucknow

The Vishwakarma Swarozgar and Swadeshi Mela 2026 is being held at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, Lucknow, from September 17 to 19. The event is part of the Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana 2.0 and brings artisans, traditional trades and local businesses together under one roof. The official event information lists the mela from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM across Jupiter Hall and Vivekanand Hall.

The mela was attended by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, on September 17. During the event, launch of the Margin Money Loan Portal and distribution of cheques and toolkits to beneficiaries of various government schemes was one of the major highlights. His visit also marked Vishwakarma Jayanti, making the opening especially relevant to the artisans and skilled workers participating in the event.

For us at Shree Deeptam, being part of this occasion is a meaningful opportunity to bring our work to visitors in Lucknow and be part of a larger celebration of traditional skills, craftsmanship and self-employment. We were present in the Swadeshi Mela as experts of our field and were asked to provide the skill training to more potential suiters in the niche.

A Stall Filled With Handmade Stories

Setting up a stall is always a little different from selling online.

You get to see people pick up a piece, look at the details, try something on, and sometimes come back after looking at everything else because they can’t stop thinking about that one piece. Those small moments are what make exhibitions special for us.

At our stall, you can explore different pieces from the Shree Deeptam Collection, including handmade terracotta jewellery, ethnic accessories, and traditional-inspired designs. The earthy look of terracotta pairs beautifully with Indian outfits. Whether you’re wearing a saree, kurta, suit, or dressing up for a festive occasion, a handcrafted piece can add that little something extra to your look.

Students explored our craftsmanship and praised the creativity, seeing young people was a significant upboost in our confidence especially, Shree Deeptam has always supported and believed young people are pillar to any fields growth, we value and want the young talent to join our journey of creating traditional handmade crafts across the nation and help the traditional look better and affordable. When people wear organic jewellery, hand designed clothes, they inherit are values of our tradition.

Why Terracotta Jewellery?

Terracotta has a charm of its own.

Made from clay and finished with care, terracotta jewellery has a natural, earthy appearance that makes it stand out from more conventional jewellery. There is something about its texture and handcrafted finish that gives each piece its own character.

For us, that is the beauty of handmade jewellery. It doesn’t have to look perfectly identical to the piece next to it. The little variations are part of the process and remind you that someone has actually spent time creating it.

At Shree Deeptam, we simply want to make these traditional designs something you can enjoy wearing today. Our collection includes both statement pieces and simpler designs, so there is something for different occasions and different personal styles.

See the Collection in Person

We love online shopping for the convenience it offers, but jewellery is one of those things that can feel very different when you see it in person.

You can look at the colours properly, notice the details, hold the piece in your hands, and try it with your outfit. Sometimes, a piece that doesn’t immediately catch your attention online turns out to be the one you love the most when you see it in person.

That is one of the reasons we are excited about being in Lucknow for the Vishwakarma Swarozgar Mela. Take your time, explore the collection, ask us about the pieces, and find something that feels right for you. Whether it’s for a festival, a family function, a special occasion, or simply something different to add to your everyday ethnic wardrobe, we’d love for you to stop by.

We really want to share story of the day, this is something we haven’t done in past. While shopping with Shree Deeptam today not a single person has thought about what they’re buying, they’ve cultivated stories. We showcased how we build our jewellery from scartch, we will cover that on our facebook and instagram. Today was about people experiencing the process, how we mould terracotta clay – to designs, designs – to hard terracotta jewellery structure, terracotta jewellery structure – to colourful jewellery.

The experience not only for us but for our customers today was very heart warming , fun, and informational. We helped a husband choose customise a gift for his wife, we helped a brother choose a surprise gift for his sister, and as always we helped smart and beautiful women boost their wardrobe and accessories with our handmade, premium teracotta jewellery. What we have always enjoyed is being part of the stories, spread love and fashion across the nation.
